Frequently Asked Questions
Most frequent questions and answers
Ceremony Locations
We have multiple ceremony locations, including the Crystal Palace, Reflection Pool, and more. Each location offers a different aesthetic as well as group size constraints. Each wedding will have the opportunity to take photos in the different portions of the cave.
Wedding Size
Our caverns are covered in incredible formations from wall to wall, limiting the size of weddings that we can offer. Each space has standing room only and varies in size depending on the location you would like to use. We can accommodate no more than 3-10 people in one area.
Officiant
We do not have an officiant onsite for the weddings. Please plan to bring one that works best for you. It is your job to ensure that they are able to navigate the sometimes wet and dark environment
Pricing
To use the Caverns as a wedding venue, we charge a flat rate of $600. This includes a walking tour before the big day to walk the cave, understand the space and ensure that the wedding will go off without a hitch as well as 1hr in the cave on your wedding day.
Temperature
The cave remains a constant 58° F all year, allowing weddings and tours to operate in all weather conditions. Most guests prefer a light sweater or jacket while inside.
Accessibility
Our cave is not wheelchair or child-stroller accessible, and we are unable to allow children 3 years of age or younger on tours. All children and adults must be able to walk the tour themselves, they cannot be carried.
Photography
We do not provide wedding photography at the venue but do allow you to bring in a MAX of 2 photographers. The lighting in the caves can be tricky so we recommend that you have a plan in place before your big day.
Wedding Planning
We are happy to work with you or your wedding planner and highly advise that you visit the cave before the wedding to see the space and ensure a smooth ceremony and to set proper expectations
Lodging
Our cave system sits directly under our beautiful cabin and RV resort, making it the perfect place to celebrate after the ceremony. We offer a 20% discount to guests of the wedding to stay with us onsite.
